Kirk Vander Molen

Executive Director

Drawn to ministry by Christ’s example of caring for and serving others, Kirk Vander Molen has been a part of the Love INC movement since 2002. He first served as the Executive Director for the Love INC of NW Allegan County, MI before joining the Love INC National Movement as the Director of Missional Integrity, and now serving as the National Executive Director.

In a typical week, you’ll find him, meeting with National staff members, attending to operational needs, working on fundraising, working with the strategic plan, problem solving challenging affiliate situations, and connecting with the National Board.

Kirk has a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences from Western Michigan University with a research focus on religious problem-solving styles in the context of experiencing poverty. He holds masters’ degrees in divinity (Western Theological Seminary) and social work (Grand Valley State University). He did his undergraduate studies in business at Hope College.

Lora Petitt

Senior Director of Program Development

Lora joined the Love INC movement in 2003 as the Executive Director of the Love In the Name of Christ of Greater O’Brien County, IA, where she faithfully served until she joined the Love INC National team in 2013, first as Director of Operating Affiliates then as Director of Affiliates.

Now in her current role as Senior Director of Program Development, Lora leans into her passion for the unification of the body of Christ, and mobilizing local churches to serve their local mission field by developing new program initiatives and training; identifying key program, curriculum, and organizational partnerships, and working to bring the Love INC mission and model to more urban settings.
