Lora Petitt

Director of  Affiliates

Lora grew up in Hull, Iowa, and graduated from Dordt College with a degree in Psychology.

While her husband was in graduate school in Davenport, Iowa, she worked as a Case Manager for the Handicapped Development Center, implementing goals and plans for adults with disabilities.

After moving to Sheldon, Iowa, in 2002, she worked briefly for Hope Haven, in the Intensive Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program.

Through God’s blessings, 2003 proved to be the beginning of continuous change in Lora’s life:  the first of four children was born and the Love In the Name of Christ of Greater Sheldon affiliate opened.

Lora served as the Executive Director from its inception in 2003 until May 2013, at which point she became the Director of Affiliates for the Love INC National Movement.
