I am a woman, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and an addict.

In 2011, I was diagnosed with a genetic disorder and amongst the several prescriptions was a sneaky, lil’ pill that I found myself completely dependent on. After 8 years of becoming a part of a world that was so easy to enter, but almost impossible to exit, I became a slave to a vicious cycle. Lost, scared, and feeling useless, I had just about thrown in the towel and completely lost faith, when Love in the Name of Christ in Bedford, PA took a chance and gave me what I had so easily lost—Hope!

I’m now drug free and remembering who I was before. I’m healthier and happier. My life is coming back and I feel stronger than before. Through God anything and everything is possible. He brought me back from the brink of death, putting so many special people in our lives. When talking to my mom over the phone, she asked me, “What is different this time?” I told her, “I have caring people in my life and I have God now.” I’m truly blessed!
