Love INC Leaders—Gather Early to Connect, Be Refreshed, and Be Inspired
Join us for a special day before the Gathering officially begins—designed specifically for Love INC leaders like you. This time together offers dedicated support, encouragement, and meaningful collaboration with others who serve in similar roles across the Movement.
From the morning through 2 pm, you’ll have time to connect in focused breakout groups with others who share your specific role or area of ministry*—including lunch and a heartfelt time of prayer with special guest, Reverend Tamar Mitchell, to center our hearts and set the tone for the week ahead.
Reverend Tamar L. Mitchell
Reverend Tamar L. Mitchell is a dedicated servant leader whose ministry spans preaching, teaching, intercession, and dramatic arts. Ordained as an Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church in 1995, she ministers alongside her husband at J.W. James AME Church in Maywood, Illinois, where she is known not as “First Lady,” but as “Lead Servant.” Her heart for ministry is rooted in the belief that true greatness comes through service—an ethos she lives out through preaching, leading Sunday School, serving on the Praise and Worship team, and previously leading intercessory prayer at the district and global levels.
Tamar’s unique calling includes a vibrant dramatic ministry through which she writes and performs original monologues based on the lives of real women in the Bible. Her goal is to make Scripture come alive, offering hope, healing, and deeper faith to all who listen. Whether she is proclaiming the Word from the pulpit or bringing it to life on stage, Tamar’s desire is to glorify Christ and help others encounter His love and truth in a transformative way.

As the afternoon wraps up, don’t miss the Ministry Fair from 2:30 to 4 pm—an exciting opportunity to explore and celebrate the incredible work happening through Gap Ministries and Transformational Ministry classes and programs. It’s a great time to share, learn, and grow alongside fellow colleagues.
